Every job a ski resort runs on

The live job board (real openings, real resorts) opens once the directory is solid — that's Phase C, and it's next after the world map is mapped. In the meantime, here's the full range of seasonal roles resorts hire for, season after season. Tell us which ones you're into and we'll email you the second real listings go live.

Ski & Snowboard Instructor

Teach first-timers the pizza wedge and take guests who already shred to the next level. Certifications help, enthusiasm is mandatory.

Full winter season, flexible/part-time common

Lift Operator

Load, unload and keep the chairs turning safely. Early mornings, a front-row seat to every sunrise, and free laps on your break.

Full winter season

Ski Patrol

First aid, avalanche mitigation, rope lines and the occasional toboggan ride nobody asked for. EMT/OEC certification usually required.

Full winter season, pre-season training included

Guest Services & Lift Ticket Sales

Ticket windows, will-call, the info desk — the first friendly face (and first line of defense) guests meet on the mountain.

Full winter season, weekends/holidays in demand

Lodge & Hotel Staff

Front desk, housekeeping and ski valet at on-mountain lodging. Tips are real, staff housing is common.

Full winter season

Kitchen & Food Service

Cafeteria lines, the mid-mountain grill, apres bars and fine dining at 8,000 feet. Line cooks to servers to baristas.

Full winter season, some year-round roles

Retail & Rental Tech

Boot fitting, ski and board tuning, gear sales. Knowing the difference between a GS ski and a powder ski goes a long way.

Full winter season

Snowcat Operator / Grooming & Snowmaking

Night-shift corduroy artists and the crews running snow guns when Mother Nature needs a hand. Heavy-equipment experience valued.

Full winter season, overnight shifts

Childcare / Kids' Ski School

Wrangle future shredders ages 3 and up — part daycare, part ski lesson, all patience. Childcare experience and certifications preferred.

Full winter season, daytime hours

Maintenance & Facilities

Keep lifts, buildings, vehicles and snowcats running through brutal winters. Mechanical and electrical skills in high demand.

Full winter season, some year-round roles
